SATELLITE ISLAND

Satellite Island is exclusively yours when you come to stay. It is your own private island to explore and enjoy as you please. The island is available for exclusive hire only.

THE SUMMERHOUSE AND THE BOATHOUSE

When you hire Satellite Island, you are hiring the whole island, not just a hotel room. You will have exclusive access to and use of all the island accommodation at the Summerhouse and the Boathouse and the luxury bell tent. Maximum occupancy is 8 guests.


CHILDREN

The island is a wonderful adventure for families; however, children coming to Satellite Island should be 10 years of age.

RATES

To hire the entire island exclusively, 2023 rates begin at $3550 a night for 2 guests with a 2 night minimum stay. Extra guests are $550pp per night. Rates include beautiful Tasmanian sparkling on arrival, an endless supply of wild oysters, gourmet breakfast provisions, stocked pantry with gourmet essentials, kitchen garden, orchard, Grown Alchemist toiletries, fishing equipment, kayaks, snorkels, stand up paddle boards, yoga mats, flippers, board games, linen, towels etc and all boat transport to and from the island and 24 hour seafaring concierge. Peak rates: Christmas, New Year and Easter are 4-night minimum stays. January School Holidays and long weekends are 3-night minimum stay. For rates please enquire.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. AMENDMENT, CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY (OUTSIDE OF CHRISTMAS, EASTER & NEW YEAR) AND NO-SHOWS:

• Due to the boutique nature of our property and its exclusivity, we are limited in our flexibility to cancel or amend reservations. With this in mind, all reservations require a 50% non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the booking email.

• If you cancel or amend your reservation:
(a) 90 days or more prior to your arrival date, a credit is created and you may amend your dates for a mutually suitable time in the future.
(b) Less than 90 days prior to your arrival date, the full 100% booking fee paid will be forfeited.
• The full 100% booking fee will be forfeited for no-shows.

2. CHRISTMAS, NEW YEAR & EASTER AMENDMENT AND NO-SHOW POLICY:

• All reservations require a 50% non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the booking email.
• No cancellations or amendments may be made for Christmas, New Year and Easter bookings.
• The full 100% booking fee paid will be forfeited in the event of any cancellation or no-show.

3. BOOKINGS

Christmas - 4-night minimum stay
New Year – 4-night minimum stay
Easter - 4-night minimum stay
Public holiday long weekends and weddings - 3-night minimum stay
All other times - 2-night minimum stay

4. PAYMENT POLICY

Payments must be made by direct bank deposit. To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the booking fee must be paid within 24 hours of the booking email. The balance of the booking fee is payable 3 months before the booked date.

5. RATES

Rates are subject to change without notice. Extra guests and extra nights added to a booking after a booking is confirmed will be subject to the current rates at the time of change.
